We are a tiny inn with only two rooms, which occupy the whole of the upstairs of this lovely, historic property. We accommodate only "one party" (two-five guests) at a time, so you'll never have to contend with noisy neighbors or paper thin walls. The McCormick House will be your very own private country inn -- and Pescadero's local shops and restaurants are an easy five-minute stroll down Stage Road.
Guests booking either a single room or the inn's two-room suite have a private entrance and keys to come and go as they please. For parties of two to three, we offer either our James & Mary room with a queen bed (preferred by couples) or our Aunt Fanny & Sister Beth room with a double and a twin bed (great for friends or a small family). We are able to offer guests who book a single room with private bath our exclusive "private inn" experience by leaving one of our two rooms room unoccupied. For larger parties we offer both of our rooms together as a suite (with shared bath) at our special discounted "friends & family" rate. We are happily "family friendly" and even have a pack-n-play and a junior mattress for extra little ones.
The Inn is nestled amidst mature trees on 3/4 of acre in the heart of downtown Pescadero. There is a lovely, large garden expressly for guests. There are plenty of tables and chairs for outdoor dining on the lawn or afternoon tea on the wrap-around porch. There's even a swing (for two) under the old walnut tree. The Inn is surrounded by Pescadero Creek, with a lush (slightly wild) riparian corridor.
